The little things...

I needed a masculine thank you card, so I decided to go with Not Quite Navy and Chocolate Chip for my main colors.

I used my favorite flourish stamp from Inkadinkado to spiffy up the sentiment panel. Then I sponged around the edges with Creamy Caramel.

The background was Versamarked with the retired Print Pattern by SU and the sentiment is from a set in the last mini catalog called "Full of Life". I was SO happy to see that this set had been added to the new catty, because it's one of my favorites. There's a great sentiment for practically every occasion.

To cover the border of where the two cardstock colors overlap, I used some of the medium width twill tape. I cut it in half and frayed the edges (I was experimenting). To finish off my "manly" card, I added some large copper brads to the corners.
Thanks for popping by! I'll be back tomorrow.
Hugs,

  1. LOVE the color combo and the masculine flair is quite nice. I may have to recreate that card myself. I think the frayed ribbon worked very well.

  2. Masculine cards are not easy to do (in my humble opinion). Yours is absolutely terrific!!!
