Sweet Simplicity

I really like the look of a clean and simple card, but for me, that's easier said than done. I'm definitely a "more is more" kind of gal and I have an addiction to embellishments. Ribbon and jewels and glitter, oh my....

Here's my take on a simple card... I just LOVE this new ice cream set from the current Stampin Up mini catalog. I used Jens sketch again and some patterned papers from a Sale-A-Bration pack called "Welcome Neighbor". I wish I had more of that stuff because it's sooooo pretty. I think the colors really pop against the black base.
The card was cute without the jewels, but a little voice in my head told me that I needed to put them on! Do you think they have meetings for people like me??
