Hambo Hump Day

Two sketch challenges in two days?! It's a miracle!
Well, actually it's not. I'm on DAY 5 of the "Master Cleanse" and have been trying to keep myself busy to keep my mind off of food. My stamps have seen a lot of action in the last week!

A few weeks ago, I discovered Karen's blog. Every Sunday she has a fabulous sketch and I finally had some time to play along this week (while my family was eating a delicious dinner).

Here's her sketch... And here's what I came up with using my cute Fall stamps by Hambo.
I used Close to Cocoa cardstock for the base and clear embossed the leaf images on the background.

Then I colored the main image with my Copics and sponged around the edges with Creamy Caramel ink.

By the time I finished my Hambo card, the family had moved on to dessert. While they were chowing down on left over birthday cake, I went ahead and made a Christmas card to go along with the sketch too.

For this one, I used Baha Breeze paper (oh how I miss you Baha Breeze!) and some patterned paper from the "Ski Slope" collection in last years Winter mini catalog.

The images are from SU's "Winter Post" and I used my stamp-a-majig to elongate the postmark image.

Well, I guess that's it for me today. Thanks for stopping by!
Until tomorrow...
