The weekend is finally here and that means a new sketch from Lauren. This weeks sketch is dedicated to our fellow sketch team member Alicia.
Last week Alicia received some devastating news about her son Ethan. His cancer has returned and the report from the doctor was not good. My heart goes out to you Alicia. I can't even begin to image what you're going through right now, but please know that you and your family are in the thoughts and prayers of many.

I mean, come on.....after seeing those pictures of Ethan, I simply HAD to use my "Cowboy Billy" image from Pink Cat Studio for his card! If you are interested in making a card for Ethan or his family, just let me know.
Now, on a lighter note....here's the Christmas card that I came up with using the same sketch flipped 90 degrees...

You did a great job on both of your cards!!! I really like that you are rolling out those Christmas cards along with all your other cards!!! I have got to start trying to do that!!!
I have been heartbroken for Alicia all week!!!
Ethan's Caring Bridge Page sounds like they are actually dealing well with it, but my heart breaks every time I think about him!!!
Alicia re-emailed me the caring page because I lost it a couple of weeks ago, but I do not want to bother her on e-mail since they are spending all thier time having fun and living life to the fullest with Ethan so if you have their address could you please send it to me so I can send a card???
I e-mailed Lauren for it earlier in the week, but she never got back with me.
I know Ethan will love that Cowboy Stamped card!!!

Wow, what a roller coaster of emotions! I did LOL at the Santa card, so I guess there's hope for me. I would like to send a card to Ethan. Please contact me with the info. Thanks.
