Stinking of you - Scheduled Post #9

Did you laugh when you saw this card? I hope so - hee hee. If you want this image too, you can get it here. It's appropriately called "Cat Butt Love".

I thought this would be a fun image to use on an anniversary card for a cat lover that I know. Makes me smile every time I see it :-)

I used my Cricut machine to make the heart and my Marvy Giga punch for the large scallop.
And what cat butt would be complete without a little liquid applique to add a little *poof*?

Until tomorrow...

Some cat butt love...

Kristina just posted her color challenge for the week! *happy dance*
Here's my entry for week 11
Don't you just love making cards when there's a theme involved? It makes it SO much easier to get the creative mojo flowing. Obviously this card is for a cat lover! The image is by Stampola and is appropriately called "Cat Butt Love". The patterned paper is from the "Stella Ruby" collection by Basicgrey.
I decided to have another go at a gate fold card and this large heart on the right side of the card interlocks with the smaller heart on the bottom left. That way the card stays shut - major pet peeve.
I used liquid applique on the "ankles" of the girl kitty to make them furry.
Here's what the inside looks like.
Thanks for popping by!

Cat Butt Love

I love this stamp from Stampola! No, it's not for everyone, but I definately have a few friends who share my sick sense of humor (insert evil grin here).

I'm in a card swap club that meets once a month and these are the little beauties that I'll be swapping tonight. The blue paper is from the Bazzill Bling line and I ran it through my Sizzix with the Cuttlebug Spots and Dots embossing folder. The flower and heart die cuts were done with my Cricut machine, but needed a little something. I stamped the flower with the flower image from the "Doodle This" set from Stampin Up and inked the edges of the heart with Rose Red. The kitties were colored with my Copics and then I added Liquid Applique to the girl's legs. The cross stitch stamp was brought back to me by a friend who went to Japan.

This was a really fun card to make - hope the gals like it!
