Christmas Digis from Pink Cat Studio and 50% OFF ALL IMAGES!!

Just poppin in real quick today to let you know about a new batch of digis by Pink Cat Studio!  Melissa whipped up a bunch of Christmas cuties and here's what I came up with using one of them...
I used papers by BasicGrey and Not Quite Navy cardstock by SU.  The snowflakes are laser cut wood embellishments with a bit of glitter on them.  I added some white liquid pearls to them for a little *pop*.

Be sure to hop on over to the PCS digi store to check out all of the new designs and get your hands on them!

Pink Cat Studio Digi Release Day!

Pink Cat Studio is back today with a fun new release for Halloween!

These little guys are just too cute and headed for a sugar coma.  They're called "Sugar Crazy Frogs " and you can find them right here.
I started with a 5" black base and used patterns from BasicGrey.
After I finished coloring my image with Copics, I used a black Sakura glaze pen on the Jack-O-Lantern face and handle.
Then I used a clear glaze pen on the rest of the pumpkin to make it look like plastic.
The layout was inspired by Mojo Monday sketch #261 and used some black felt ribbon and loads of orange pearls as embellishments.
I finished it off with a die cut sentiment and some candies.
These are the Copics that I used...
This is the first card I've made in months and it was so great to get back in my workshop!  I absolutely adore the Halloween images by Pink Cat Studio!  Every single one.
You can check out the entire PCS Halloween collection and new release images right here.

Oh, and how about a couple of freebies?!

"Frog Wizard" is free with ANY purchase today only...

And "Frog Pumpkin Head" is free just for reading my post today!

Hey Stranger

Well hello there!
It's been a long time!
After taking a much needed break, I'm happy to say that my health is much better and I'm feeling GREAT for the first time in over two years.  It's been ages since I've been on the computer, stepped foot in my workshop or done anything crafty.  Being sick can really do a number on a girls mojo!  With all of the fun holidays that start to pop up this time of year, I'm hoping that my creative spark will return soon.

Luckily my friend Melissa over at Pink Cat Studio has already found her holiday mojo!  Inspiration whacked her in the noggin and she just drew a bunch of Halloween images that are super cute.  I can't wait to share them with you next Thursday!  The Halloween collection by Pink Cat Studio is by far my absolute favorite.  It's overflowing with cuteness and you can check it out right here.

I'll be back next Thursday to share the new release with you.
Until then...

Pink Cat Digital Release Day

In celebration of the release of Melissa's fun new game, she's got a digi release full of cuteness!

And there's a FREEBIE available today only with any purchase from the digi store!
Here are a few goodies I made with the new images.

Last week was Teacher Appreciation Week at school and I was in charge of "flower day".  Each kiddo brought in a flower for the teacher and I collected them in a vase.  I saw some really cute ideas online and decided to whip up my own version that the teacher would be proud to display and reuse in the future.
This fun little sun image was the perfect finishing touch for my big bow in front.

Here's how I made the flower pot display...
I started with a $4 terra cotta pot and a pretty blue spraypaint.

After painting the pot, I placed a clear glass vase in the middle and added rocks to hold it in place.

Then I used liquid nails to attach my pencil banner that I made with the SU pennant punch.
Easy-Peasy and the teacher absolutely loved it!

Next up is Betty the Bubblebee Fairy...
I used bright bold colors on this one and embellished with a jewel border and liquid pearls.  The sentiment is from the PCS set called "Lily at the Beach.

Here's a peek at the inside...

My last sample today uses the Betty Ladybug Fairy image.
She is just toooo cute!
This was the first card that I've made since NOVEMBER!
That's it for me today!  Thanks for stopping by to check out the new release!  Be sure to hop on over to the PCS digi store and claim your freebie today!

CSAYL Update

If you're a CSAYL fan then you'll want to hop on over and check out the latest announcement over on the challenge blog.

As for the Midnight Scramper blog, I'm going to take a much needed break for a bit.  I love this hobby so so much, but some health issues have absolutely killed my mojo for the moment.   I need to focus on getting me better, and spending as many of my "good days" with my family right now as possible.

I'm not sure when I'll be back to posting on a regular schedule, but hopefully I'll be able to pop in every once in a while and share a little something with you.
Hugs,

Wow - it's been awhile

Hi there!
I know, I know....it's been awhile.

The kids just got back in school from their Winter break.  Between the holidays, entertaining two munchkins for almost three weeks, and taking charge of some health problems, my time in the craft room has been non existent.  Oh, and did I mention that we're house shopping too?!

I just wanted to pop in quick today and let you know that I'll be continuing my CSAYL 2012 design team call through the end of this week.  If you're interested, please send me an email by THIS Sunday.  Just include a link to your blog and a sentence or two about yourself.  Send it to bruckler at comcast dot net.  I've had fun looking through all of the applications so far and checking our all of your blogs.  There sure is a lot of talented stampers out there!

I'll be contacting new team members next week!
Thanks,
