Have you always wanted to be a digi designer?!

It's a good thing that I get to FINALLY share this with you because I was ready to explode!
The brand spankin' new Digi Designer Program from Pink Cat Studio launched TODAY!!

Melissa created a super fun new program where YOU can design your very own digi!  And the best part?  It's SO simple to use!  In fact, my eight year old daughter and I got to be a guinea pigs for it.  So, if we can do it, anyone can do it.  There are literally hundreds of combinations of characters and accessories possible.  SO FUN!  (If you want to check out what my munchkin did with the program, you can check out her blog here - she'd be thrilled to get a few visitors)

Each of the design team members got to design their own digi to play with today.  And, if you really really like any of our designs, you can purchase them in the digi designer shop!  I decided to go with a Halloween theme and came up with this...
Here's Lily all set to go trick-or-treating with her frog and bunny friends.
I put lots of purple glitter on her fairy wings and drew in a sidewalk with my Copics (tutorial here).  I just love the frog with bunny ears.
I used a sketch from deconstructing jen for my layout and added some faux stitching along the sides.
All of the cute embellishments are from K & Company - love em'!

I'm sure you're anxious to start designing some of your own images, so hop on over and give it a go!

HUGE news from the Pink Kitty!

Have I ever mentioned that Melissa, over at Pink Cat Studio is a GENIUS?!  I absolutely love that girl - such a smart cookie.

I know you've all missed PCS while they were on a mini break for summer, but now they're back and better than ever!  The new digital designing program that she came up with was SOOOOOOOO worth the wait!!  (Is my enthusiasm coming across??)

It will be releasing next Thursday Oct. 6th.
All of the DT gals designed their very own digi and will be showing them to you along with sample cards on release day. Our designs will also be available in the PCS store so if you really like them you can own them too.  Ehem....mine came out pretty cute if I do say so myself.  I can't wait to share it with you!

We'd love your help in spreading the word about the new Digi Stamp Designer. There is a blinkie at the top of the PCS blog. If you post the blinkie on your blog then you will be entered into our contest to win a credit to make your own digi stamp for free! From everyone who participates, Melissa will randomly pick 3 winners.

To enter the contest, post a comment on this PCS blog post to let Melissa know you have posted the blinkie on your blog. This contest will close Wed. Oct. 5th at 5pm EST. The winners will be announced on Thurs. Oct. 6th.
Good Luck!

Christmas Stampin All Year Long

So, who's ready for the next challenge over at CSAYL?
We've got a great sponsor this week and 5 FREE DIGIS from Pink Cat Studio are up for grabs!

This week I want you to make us laugh!
Make a Christmas card and use the funniest sentiment that you've got!  Cute, silly, offensive - whatever floats your boat!  Stamp it out and make us giggle!

Here's what I came up with using an image from the Lily and Billy Winter set.
I picked up the funny sentiment at a stamp expo several years ago.
That's it for me today - I'm exhausted and looking forward to the weekend!
Stop by the CSAYL blog and play along with us.

For my SuperMan

If you're interested in my design team call OR being one of our sponsor companies for a weekly challenge, click here.
Well, it's official. My big hunk of man turns one year older tomorrow! The kiddos and I decided that a Superhero theme would be perfect for his card, because he really is our hero. The cute image is from this set by Pink Cat Studio. The fun patterned papers are from a boy themed paper pack by DCWV and the layout was inspired by Karen's sketch last weekend.
Quick post today - thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Stampin' All Year Long

Oh yeah baby - Friday is finally here!
It's also challenge day over at CSAYL!
Oh yeah, and did I mention that Pink Cat Studio is our sponsor this week?!
Does it get any better than that?

This week we want you to work with an inspiration photo and voila, here it is...

I was inspired by the traditional colors and all of the snowflakes.
Here's what I came up with using an image from "Itty Bitty Christmas".

Here's a close up of Betty, Bobby and their reindeer.
I decided to flock Rudolph's antlers for some fun fuzzy texture.
And I was thrilled to finally have a use for these red snowflakes that I've been hoarding for waaaaay to long. I layered a couple of them and added a button to the middle.

I hope you'll play along with us! You can check out the challenge post right here. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

For the birds

Pink Cat Studio is back today with some new rubbah! Melissa has put together three great sets that were originally released as digitals.

Do you remember the sock cupcake that I made for Valentine's Day? My neighbor gave me these socks the other day and I just had to make another one! This one has a Halloween theme...
I cut the image into a tag shape and added some rub-on letters for the sentiment. Then I tied it all up with three ribbons and finished it off with a skull that my friend made out of polymer clay.

Check out this cute little lollipop chick...

Adorable, no?

To make my own candy embellishment, I stamped out a decorative circle and punched it out. Then I wrapped it in some clear plastic and tied off the ends.

The rest of my projects were done when these images were released as digis, but I thought I'd share them again today.

This bird image was the perfect size and shape for a checkbook cover...
These owls on a unicycle crack me up...

And this rub-on sentiment was perfect for this image...

If you love these images and gotta have em', hop on over to the PCS store and you'll have them in your hot little hands in no time!
