My hairdresser is such a sweetheart. She recently got engaged and is now experiencing all of the good times and stress that comes with planning a wedding. Her family just threw a big engagement party for her and she's a little worried about all the thank you cards that she needs to get out.
I decided to surprise her with a big pack of thank you notes that are ready to go. All she'll need to do is fill them out and pop em' in the mail. I used my SU Embrace Life set - which I am totally in love with.
Her wedding colors are coral and white, so I used Cameo Coral cardstock and white watercolor paper for the main image. I embellished the middle of the large flower with halfback pearls, which I thought added a little bit of elegance. I decorated the envelopes and packaged everything up in a clear box from Papertrey. The clear box was super easy to decorate. I just cut a long strip of the patterned paper that I used on the cards, cut a giant scallop circle and a white circle with my Marvy punches and sponged around the edges. What's the vegetable peeler for, you ask?? I use it to rough up the edges of my watercolor paper. Watercolor paper is alot thicker that SU whisper white, and I find that my old veggie peeler does the trick! I really like how these turned out and can't wait to surprise her with them tomorrow.
