A good friend went on her first cruise last week and this was a little card I sent to wish her and her family a safe trip. To be honest, I'm not really crazy about this card. Sometimes the vision in my head doesn't always make it on to paper exactly right. O well...
The boat is from SU's "Boatloads of Love" and it's actually behind a sheet of acetate that is popped up with dimensionals. The waves were scraps of Bashful Blue that I embossed with my swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder and then added "waterfall" Stickles. I made little life preservers on the side of the boat with white eyelets that I colored with a red Copic marker. Okay....now here's the shocker....I colored the image on the inside with my Prismacolor pencils! I've been hooked on my Copics for so long now, that I figured it was time to give my other goodies a turn.
The sentiment is from Hambo. I bought it to go with the snail image from SU's "Bugs and Kisses", but thought it would be perfect for a Bon Voyage.
The Stampin Up discontinued wheel and accessory list comes out at 7:00 this morning. All products are only available until sold out, so if there's something that you want - order it asap! The list will be updated by the Home Office daily. If you are not on my e-mail mailing list and would like me to send you the list when it's released, leave me a comment with your e-mail address.
Hope you all had a super weekend.
