It's that time of the month again

The first Sunday is always a fun day for me because that's the day that I teach my monthly Stampin Up class. This month our theme was "Christmas in September".

How many times have you promised yourself that you'd get your Christmas cards done early?
Last year my goal was to have all of my Christmas cards done by Halloween - didn't happen. We'll see how this year goes...

Here are the projects we did yesterday. I tried to keep the layouts simple so they would be easy and inexpensive to mass-produce for the holidays.

These first two cards use the same layout and the stamp set "Big on Christmas"

Card Recipe:
Cardstock - Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Misc - Designer Series Patterned Paper, gold brads, markers, paper piercer

Card Recipe:
Cardstock - Riding Hood Red, Baha Breeze, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Misc - Jolly Wheel, gold brads, markers, paper piercer

I used "Holy Triptych" for the next two cards...

Card Recipe:
Cardstock - River Rock, Sage Shadow, Whisper White
Misc - gold embossing powder, aquapainter, paper piercer

Card Recipe:
Cardstock - Baha Breeze, Kiwi Kiss
Patterned Paper - Bella Rose
Misc - Kiwi Kiss Satin Ribbon (YUM-O!)
Additional Stamps - It's All Good, Happy Everything
Here's close up of the main panel

Here's how it opens.

These next two cards used the same simple layout and the "Deer Friends" hostess set (level 2)
Card Recipe:
Cardstock - Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip
Patterned Paper - Bella Rose
Misc - Riding Hood Red taffeta ribbon, Cuttlebug embossing folder

Card Recipe:
Cardstock - Kraft, Riding Hood Red
Patterned Paper - Bella Rose
Misc - Riding Hood Red taffeta ribbon, Cuttlebug embossing folder
For Rudolph's nose, I colored it in with a Rose Red marker and added Dazzling Diamonds.

At each class I always have a bag for everyone to take their goodies home in. This month I used a funny sentiment from Hambo.
Ahhhh....so true!
Thanks for stopping by! And a big thank you to everyone that came to my class yesterday. I love you guys!
hugs,
