Each month Monica over at Hambo gives the design team gals a challenge. This month she challenged us to make a card based on a tv show - using Hambo stamps of course! This was a REALLY hard challenge for me, but I gave it a whirl.
Here's what I came up with... The patterned paper on the top half is by BasicGrey. To make the sign, I cut out two branch-like shapes out of scraps of chocolate brown patterned paper, wrapped them with hemp twine and attached to my little "Green Acres" sign. I cut out the letters with my Cricut "Opposites Attract" cartridge.
To make the ground that the muddy little pig is sitting on I just used a post-it note, a sponge and Close To Cocoa ink.
I placed the post it note over the cardstock at an angle, sponged and then moved it over about a half inch. I continued until I reached the other corner of the cardstock.

That is awesome! I especially like the ground that you created! Great job!
LOVE your card MacKenzie! I kept thinking of "Green Acres" for my project (probably because of all of our pigs) but couldn't come up with an idea for it. You've pulled it off just perfectly! I love how you did the dirt for the pig, and your use of the tree DP. Great job! :)
This is soooo cute, I love the ground...I've got to try this!!!!
great job on challenge, glad to see the little piggy
LOVE this it is sooo cool
Super cute MacKenzie - love how you did that ground, I could have made a great garden scene with that method! :-)
Great card. I like the ground too. Thanks for the demo. I like the trees you cut out too!
You clever so and so. That's a fantastic idea - thank you for sharing.
