Here's Lauren's sketch for today... Here's the first card I came up with...
I used Pumpkin Pie for the base and SU's "Jersey Shore" patterned paper for the green background. The other patterns are from Scenic Route.
When I was done, it looked really plain, so I added some piercing with my pokey thing!
This was the second card I did...

I recently got this set by Kim Hughes and have been dying to use it.
I cut out a circle from the front of the black card base, embossed it with my Swirls folder and then attached the skull images with fishing line.

Good morning! Thanks for your kind comment on my jean pocket card. I am so glad I stopped by today and you have the Saturday sketch!! I am going to have a little time to stamp and was bummed when it wasn't on Lauren's blog.
I like your cards, those pirate skulls are fun! But I am probably going to have to lean toward hearts this month. ;)
This is so adorable! I love how "out of the box" these both are! I love that Jersey Shore paper! And, I have some fun Kim Hughes stamps on my way too! :)
