Here's Lauren's sketch for today!
I decided to flip the sketch on it's side so I could fit my new chubby caterpillar image from Hambo. You can check out all of the cute new images from Hambo by clicking here.
Here's what I came up with...
When I was trying to think of what element to use for the two circles on the sketch, I suddenly thought of the book "The very hungry caterpillar". It's a favorite in our house! I grabbed my apple image - also from Hambo, colored it in and punched it with my 3/4" circle punch. After I layered the apples on, I decided to punch through the entire card - just like the book.I also played around with the sentiment a bit. The original stamp, by Hambo says, "Times fun when you're having flies". I decided to bust out a black marker and my stamp-a-majig and rearrange it to work for this card.
All in all, a fun and quick card to put together!
