Tragedy and a sketch

I'm not exactly sure how it happened, but we had a horrible accident in our house over the weekend. My daughter broke her favorite headband.... Don't tell her, but there were 56 reasons why I was secretly happy...
No worries! I've promised to search high and low for a replacement.

Here's my card for today...
I decided to use Amy's Friday sketch for this one.
Do you recognize those little pink beauties on the scalloped part of the card?!

For this one, I used Sage Shadow and Kraft cardstock by Stampin Up. The "xoxo" patterned paper was a treasure I found in my scrap bin. Isn't this image the cutest? I picked up this set by My Favorite Things at a stamp expo a couple of weeks ago.

As promised yesterday.....
Here's my Christmas version of the same sketch!

I used a My Favorite Things set for this one also.

The patterned paper is a double-sided retired piece from Stampin Up. It matched perfectly with the Riding Hood Red taffeta ribbon.

Well, I guess that's it for me today. Thanks so much for visiting me!
I'll be back tomorrow with another sketch.
Hugs,

great cards and too funny always a crafter to find uses for something others might throw out.

Both cards are fantastic Mackenzie. I love how you colored both cards. . so pretty. I'm sorry that your daughter broke her favorite headband. Maybe you could create a card for her as a keepsake. . . .you know, a memory of her headband. LOL!

You made use of the rhinestones. . .they look perfect on the card.
