About a week ago, I received an e-mail from the uber-fabulous Maria Bell. She noticed that I've been making alot of Christmas cards lately and asked if I'd like to fill an opening on her Christmas Stampin' All Year Long Blog!
Each Monday, on the challenge blog, Maria posts a fabulous new sketch and we all share our take on it. There's a link to the challenge site and all of the other team members on my sidebar.
Since this is my first challenge with the team, the pressure was really on!
I decided to flip the sketch 90 degrees like this...
Here's what I came up...
I used my adorable little penguin from Whipper Snapper and some yummy patterns from the "Cousins" collection by My Mind's Eye. The main image and scallop border were punched out with my big ol' Marvys - love those things. To finish it off, I added some turquoise jewels and Riding Hood Red taffeta ribbon.
