"My Time" sketch challenge

Hey everyone!
Saturday brings a brand new challenge from Lauren.
This week we get to play with a sketch... Here's what I came up with...
Only 18 more days until school starts!
My kids are super excited, but my goodness, where did the summer go? I thought this would be the perfect time to start making some cards for "Meet the Teacher Day". I've only got three cards to make, so I've got a good head start.

For this card, I used a school bus die cut from BasicGreys "Recess" line and a sentiment sticker by Karen Foster. The main image is the uber-adorable teacher Anya from The Greeting Farm.

I hope you play along with us!
Check out what the other gals did and be sure to link your creation on Lauren's blog!

Your Anya is such a cutie! And I love that you translated the offset rectangles as a school bus and sign. Excelelnt choices!

What a unique take on the sketch! I love that you aren't afraid of breaking away from the norm. Your projects always turn out amazing! This is such a fun card for a new teacher. I'm sure he/she will appreciate and admire it!

Oh, I have to tell you. I stole an idea from you (again). I loved how you used the SU Round Tab punch to spool some thread for your last My Time to Inspire card. Soooo, I punched a bunch of tabs from PTI Kraft cs and spooled all of my craft thread that ALWAYS gets tangled when I pull it straight from the skein. Now they're all organized and knot-free! So, thank you for the idea!!!
