Christmas Stampin' All Year Long

My cabana boy scheduled this post for me because I'm busy snorkeling right now.

Hello Kitty! Ehemmmm.....I mean hello stampers!
Today is challenge day over at CSAYL!
The challenge for today?

USE NON-TRADITIONAL COLORS

How's this for non-traditional? Last week I shared the Christmas card that the hubs and I are giving to our son this year. Today, I thought I'd share the one we're giving to our daughter. She's six years old and DEEP into a Hello Kitty phase at the moment.

I Versamarked a snowflake image from SU's "Winter Post" onto a 5 1/2 inch base of Bermuda Bay. Then I layered on some Pink Passion that I ran through a Cuttlebug embossing folder. The Hello Kitty was made by using a Sizzix die that I picked up from the Scrapbook Expo last year. For the bow, I used a sheet of red sticky strip through the Sizzix and then covered it with some Doodlebug Sugar Coating to give it that holiday sparkle. For the center of the bow, I used the postmark image from "Winter Post" and popped it up on dimensionals.
So there you have it, a non-traditional holiday card by yours truly!
Be sure to check out what the rest of the gals did and upload your creation by hopping on over to the CSAYL blog right now.
