I'm so happy that the weather here in Northern California has cooled down and it's finally starting to feel like Fall - my favorite time of year.
Today I have a sweet Hambo treat to share with you using one of their brand new digital images. I always like to give a little something to my kids teachers before we leave for Thanksgiving break in November. This year I decided to make Caramel Apple Kits. I thought that these would be something fun for the teachers to do at home with their little ones. This was SO simple to make! The plastic box is an A2 card box. All I did was make a few measurements, whip out my trusty Scor-Pal and make two toppers for the box. Well, I guess technically I made one topper and one bottom.
Here's how I did it:
Score a 4 x 6 piece of cardstock on the short side at:
1 1/2" and 2 1/2
Then turn your paper 90 degrees and score on the long side at: 1" and 5 1/2"
*If you want to punch a decorative border, now is the time to do it Next, cut where shown to create tabs.

Now just fold up and adhere.
This is what you should have.

Then just fill your box with goodies and slide on your cardstock topper and bottom.
All that's left to do now is decorate!
I added some Hambo apples to the bottom, colored them green and added some Doodlebug Sugar Coating to make them SPAR-KA-LAY!!!
Then I finished it off with some yummy polka dot ribbon and a tag using this uber-cute caramel apple image that was just added to the digital collection. Love it!

WHO is that gorgeous blonde on your avatar? Cute pic! Tres Hawaii. Must be the flower.
How cute is this??? I like the idea of using the card boxes! :)
Too cute!!
Mmm, looks delicious! I can't wait to see what you made for tomorrow's PCS release! ;) BTW, love your new photo!
Super cute! Lovin' the "just add apples." I bought some caramels and apples at the store not 15 minutes ago. Now I've got a cute idea on how to package it up as a gift! Thanks for sharing.
