Today I've got the two tutorials that I promised. First, I'll share the lollipop covers. These were SO easy to make, and once I had all of my images colored, I was able to bang these out really fast. First you'll need to measure your lollipop and add about a 1/2" to the width and height for your cover.
I ended up using a 2 3/4" x 6" piece of cardstock.
Then I scored it down the middle at 3".
Fold it in half with the fold at the top and punch holes through both layers.

Pull ribbon through the back so the ends of the ribbon are both on the front of your cover. Insert the lollipop through the ribbon.
Tie ribbon in a bow and decorate your little heart out!
It doesn't get much easier than that.

Here's the $1 sock cupcake that I posted yesterday. Here's how I did it....I started off with a pair of kid size knee high socks. I rolled them up and measured around to figure out how big my "cup" needed to be.
I started with a 2 1/2" x 9" strip of thick cardstock. Then I scored it on one of the long edges at 1/2".
Now, the next step is very important.Attach red sticky tape to the right side of the score line. REMOVE THE RED LAYER FROM THE TAPE SO THE ADHESIVE IS VISIBLE. Now, cut every 1/2" down the length of the cardstock, stopping at the score mark. If you cut the tabs BEFORE you remove the red score tape, you're going to have to pull off 30+ little tiny sections of red tape. Then you're going to be frustrated and pull out all of your hair. I don't want to be responsible for that.
Now we're ready to assemble the "cup".I used a 3" scallop circle for my base. Slowly attach the tabs that you just cut around the base, leaving a small border. When you're done you should have something that looks like this...Then just roll up the socks and pop them in the base!
