Flowers and Leaves

My daughter's teacher just had a baby last Thursday and the nursery colors are brown, blue and green. I was asked by one of the parents to come up with a present that could be from the whole class. I started with a wood base that measured about 12" tall and painted it white. Then I added patterned papers with Mod Podge glue.
I embellished with rub-on images and sentiments...
and finished it off with some Prima flowers and leaves. I love the brown flowers with the blue leaves - such a great combo for boys. There are a TON of them in each package, so you'll definitely be seeing more of these on future projects!
I also made a matching box filled with assorted thank you cards - a total necessity for any new Mommy.
All of these pretty flowers and leaves are available at Little C's and we hope that they've inspired you to play along with a little challenge this week. Yep, today is the beginning of a new challenge at Little C's. This week we want you to create a card or project using any kind of flowers and leaves.
