My cabana boy scheduled this post for me because I'm goofing off at Tokyo Disneyland today!
Todays challenge over the CSAYL blog is to make a vintage style card. Vintage is SO not my style, but I love the way that other people are able to pull it off.
I thought this would be a tough challenge for me, but in the end, I was happy with what I made and it only took about 15 minutes!
I thought the ice skating couple from SU's "Winter Post" would be a good image for this challenge. I stamped it out in Sahara Sand ink and then sponged the edges with the same color.
I finished it off with some very vintage looking flowers by Prima. I'm not sure what flowers have to do with ice skating or Christmas for that matter, but they matched my patterned paper, so I went with it! I hope you'll join us this week and perhaps stretch a bit out of your comfort zone. Only 27 weeks to go!
