The cake

Sorry for the awful picture quality, but the lavender textured paper I used for my page does weird things to my camera. O well....you get the idea right?

For those of you that have been with me for a while, you may remember this post of the birthday cake that I made for my daughter. I've been wanting to scrapbook this picture since April, but felt like I was out of "scrap mojo".

I decided to just sit down and do it the other night and promised myself to only use supplies that I already had. Here's what I came up with.

As I said before, I used lavender textured paper for my background and a sheet of polka dot paper that I picked up at the $1 store. I embellished with miscellaneous buttons and ribbon - lots of ribbon.

Here's a close up of the journaling and yes....my daughter is high maintenance. Lovable, but high maintenance.
