Some of you have noticed that my ribbon is wrapped around a clothespin in my photos and have e-mailed me for more details. For those of you who are interested, here's a photo tour of my "scramp room". I found this paint bottle storage rack at the Goodwill store for $3! I had no idea what I was going to do with it, but decided to buy it. How could I pass up a bargain like that?! (These things go for $54 at my local craft store) After staring at it for a few days, it occurred to me that I might be able to store my ribbon in in. I bought bags of 20 old fashioned wood clothespins at the Dollar Tree and wrapped my ribbon around them and secured it with a straight pin. Voila! Instant spinning ribbon rack!
This is where I store all of my scraps. There are two containers stacked on top of each other with three 12 x 12 drawers each. (Walmart $12.99 each)
Since organization turns me on, I've got my scraps sorted by color.
This is the left corner of my room next to the closet. My husband "pimped" my room for me for Christmas one year and got me a flat screen tv for the corner. Underneath the tv, my ribbon/paint rack is sitting on top of my mini-fridge. Just think....if I had a potty in here, I'd never have to leave! Paper storage in the closet on top of another storage unit. All of my embellishments are in the stacked containers to the right - organized by color of course. I got these mini storage units at Walmart for $7.99 each.
This is the right wall where I keep all of my retired Stampin Up sets and stamps from other companies. The opposite wall (not pictured) has the same type of shelving, but stores all of my CURRENT Stampin Up sets. It makes it easier to come up with projects for my classes, when I can just look at all of my current sets in one spot. These are glass bathroom shelves from Lowe's ($12.99 each)
Here's how I store my Copics. I got this plastic container from the local Borders when they closed down. Notice my bell on top? I ring it every time I finish a project so my husband can run up the stairs and pretend to be impressed. Oh...and don't forget my Captain Jack Sparrow statue - a must have for every girl. Here's my Stampin Spots, Stickles, etc. I picked up this neat display rack for $6 at a scrapbook store going out of business sale.
More bathroom shelves with my punches.
This is the other side of my closet - my daughters nook.
Well, that's the end of our tour. Thanks for stopping by! I'll be back tomorrow with one of the projects from my class yesterday.

Wow! So organized. I like how everything is out so that you can see it. I also like that THE captain is supervising your work! ;o)
Too fun & cute! I just found your blog today! My daughter, Alyssa, is IN LOVE with Johnny Depp so I'll have to show her that photo. She has posters, etc. all over her room. We even had a bday cake made with his picture on it! She's 17! Hard to believe she's in love with an actor that is older then her mother. LOL!
Love your ideas for organization!
Ann :)
You are amazingly organized, I really wish I could be like that, I go looking for something and find things I forgot I had and that would have done perfectly for something I have already finished.
WOAH!! your room ROCKS!! and I laughed when you said your hubby pimped the room. HAHA.
i told my hubby that you have a TV & MINI-FRIDGE and laughed at me. hehe.
