October Class Project #2

Here's the second project that we'll be making at my workshop this Sunday.
What the heck is it?

It's a clear calendar case that's been decorated on the outside. I picked up 20 of these while I was in Hawaii. The possibilities are endless with these, because unlike a standard CD case, there is no center insert. Just thick clear plastic that's begging to be altered.
To decorate the outside, I used SU's "Bella Rose" patterned paper and their new Halloween set called "Tasty Sweet".

For simplicity's sake, we'll be filling ours with candy this weekend, but just think of all the great things that you could put in here. Halloween party invitations, photographs, portable tic-tac-toe, Halloween recipes, card candy, crayons or colored pencils, paper dolls, etc...

Hi! i love your idea on the cases. They actually do look like you can use CD cases for these. All you have to do is remove the center section. That is how i have my unmounted stamps stored. I removed the center center (black area that holds CD) some are harder than others to remove. THen you can use them to do crafty things like you did on your cases.

Ha Ha! I literally laughed out loud when I read about the extra thumb - my office mates looked at me a bit strange! :o) Thanks for playing along! ~lyss

Hey Girly Girl... love this idea of using the CD thingy, decorating n' stuffing some flat candies inside, I gotta go look around and see if I have any blank CD cases now.

I wanna get something designed by one of them talented ladies/man as well!!! I'm sad to hear you have MS... =0( but I am thrilled to be ONE OF THE FIRST to have known you are in the early stages of starting your stamp line. You KNOW whose gonna stock your stuffs girl....
