Ahhh...the weekend is finally here and that means Lauren and the "My Time" to Create team have a brand new challenge for you.
Voila!
Is it just me or do these colors remind you of a banana split?
Perhaps I had chocolate on the brain, but I decided to just go with it!
Here's what I came up with...
The images are from "Here's the Scoop" by My Favorite Things. For the base, I used Kraft cardstock and stamped the sundae image on it with Sahara Sand ink. By doing that, I was able to add interest to the background without taking away from the main image. The next layer is Purely Pomegranate cardstock that was embossed with the Swiss Dots folder - love that thing!
For the main panel, I paper pieced the wall with some Bo Bunny polka dot cardstock and colored with my Copics. Then I added some Doodlebug Sugar Coating to the ice cream. In my world a girl can eat glitter ice cream...
Great color combo this week!
