Christmas Stampin' All Year Long

Can you believe that we're heading into the final weeks of October? There's something like 67 days until Christmas - ACK! I've got all my Christmas cards done though. Such a great feeling!

Today is challenge day over at the CSAYL blog. We've got one more month of challenges for you, so there's still time to play along.

Today's challenge is to make a tag. I love homemade gift tags and was able to whip three of them up in under ten minutes! I used my Cricut with the "George" font cartridge to cut out the 4 1/2" tag shape.

Then I went through the ol' scrap drawers to choose my color scheme. I picked up a pretty stamp set over the weekend that had 8-9 different flourish designs. I saw it in a bargain bin for $6 and it just jumped into my basket! I used one of the flourish designs on the pale green cardstock to create my own patterned paper. So simple to do, but I thought it looked great!

The rest was pieced together and then I added a sentiment from SU's "Winter Post" set.

So what kind of tag are you going to make?
Be sure to leave a link to your project on the CSAYL blog and while your there, you can check out what the rest of the design team came up with.

Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,
