I got an early birthday present yesterday from my Mother-in-law and wanted to whip up a thank you card for her right away. Some of you may know that she's Japanese. I have a whole shelf of special Asian themed stamps that I only use for her. She just loves getting a handmade card in the mail. For this one, I used a clean and simple layout. Instead of using paper for one of the layers, I hand stitched a single white thread. I used some clear microbeads on some of the sushi so they looked just like tobeko (flying fish eggs). After I colored the main image, I cut it out and placed it over a piece of sushi grass for a fun little element.
Quick post for me today. I'm off to do some Christmas shopping because I'm determined to be DONE by Thanksgiving!
Big hugs to all of you,
Big hugs to all of you,
