Christmas Stampin' All Year Long

I've been having problems with Blogger since yesterday, so hopefully this post "appears" like it's supposed to! Grrrrr..... Gotta love technology.

Before I go off on a rant, I better share my project with you. That always cheers me up! Today is challenge day over on the Christmas Stampin All Year Long blog.

This week we want you to make your choice of box.
A tall box...
or a cupcake box...
or a keepsake box.

My talented friend Maria, has made a wonderful tutorial for all three boxes! You can view the tutorials on the CSAYL blog. Just scroll down to the one you want to use.

I decided to go with the tall box because let's face it, it'll hold more goodies! This is the same size box that I shared in my Pink Cat Studio post yesterday. I kept this one fairly simple so I can personalize it when I decide what I'm going to put into it and who I'm going to give it to this holiday season.
The box is made from Soft Suede cardstock by Stampin Up and the patterned paper is by Cosmo Cricket. It's double-sided, so I used one pattern on the front of the box and the other pattern on the top. Gotta love it when everything is matchy-matchy!

To finish off the box, I used some big ol' striped ribbon by Stampin Up. I've had a hard time incorporating this stuff onto a card because is SO thick, but I think I've finally found the perfect use for it - gift packaging!
Now that you've see my project, head on over to the challenge blog and check out what the rest of the design team came up with. After you've been inspired, leave a link to your project on the challenge post.
Have a fantastic weekend peeps!
