Have you ever colored on Kraft cardstock? I've seen so many beautiful examples of this technique and have been wanting to try it. I think I was just waiting for the right image to use.I just got this little cutie from Little C's and thought he'd be perfect for my first attempt. He's called "Mouse Carrying Cake" and he's part of the Tina Wenke collection by Stampavie.
I just love this sentiment...
It's pretty much my go-to stamp for birthday cards these days.

I finished it off with some bright green grosgrain ribbon by May Arts. I love this stuff! It ties perfectly every time and cuts like "buttah".
If you haven't used your Copics on Kraft cardstock, give it a try sometime!

So adorable! I love the way you added the sentiment to the circle near the top and the bow near the bottom...love it! :)

What a delightful card! Your colouring is beautiful. I would have never thought to use Copics on Kraft paper. It looks fantastic.
