Uncle Ham

The kiddos and I are still on vacation, but I scheduled this post to share a fun project with you. I know it's a little early to be posting 4th of July projects, but I wanted to give you time to plan ahead.

Every year I give sparklers to the kids friends and try to think of a clever way to present them. Last year we decorated pringles cans and this year we started saving toilet paper tubes. Here's what we came up with this year...All I did was wrap patterned paper around a toilet paper tube and embellish with ribbon scraps. Then I added a scallop circle to the bottom to hold everything in. This image on the front is by Hambo of course!
They have some cute images available for the 4th of July.
You can peek at all of them by clicking here.
I colored this plump little fella with my Copics and added some velvet flock to his beard. Then I used some Doodlebug Sugar Coating to give his sparkler some sparkle.

Hope this inspires you to try something new and fun!
Hugs,

Ooh what a fantastic project, Mackenzie. Boy you are awesome with planning ahead! I'm always behind on things and always doing things the last minute!!

That piggie is such a cutie! LOL!! What a fun way to hold those sparklers. . .and it don't cost much either! Great job with your recycling project!
